All orders are shipped from the UK using Royal Mail.
UK orders are sent 2nd Class signed for and International are sent using either tracked, signed for, or both.
Estimated Shipping Times vary depending on where your item is heading to. Below are some rough estimations of delivery times.. These times indicate how long it will take to reach you after the order has been processed and dispatched.
UK: 3-5 business days
Europe: 5-7 business days
USA: 7-9 business days
Rest of the World: Around 10 business days
Dainty Paws cannot guarantee these shipping dates but always aims to meet these times where possible. Please note that Custom orders can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks to be made, processed and then dispatched.
Dainty Paws is not responsible for the actions of Royal Mail delivery services.
If a delivery attempt is made unsuccessfully, please ensure the parcel is collected from the relevant Delivery Office / Enquiry Office in a timely manner, or alternatively - please ensure a re-delivery date is arranged with Royal Mail in order to prevent the parcel being returned to Dainty Paws (Sender).
If the Royal Mail parcel retention (holding) time allowance is exceeded the parcel will be returned to Dainty Paws. In these circumstances, once the item is received by us - an additional postage fee will be requested in order to cover the cost of re-delivery.
Orders sent to outside of the UK will have a customs label attached.
Due to the July 2021 EU tax rules, customers ordering outside of the UK will most likely be subject to a customs charge, import VAT and/or handling fee. The amount of these charges is unknown to Dainty Paws and will be based upon the contents and value of your order. The charges and fees vary from country to country.
Upon placing an order, the customer is accepting responsibility to pay any of these additional fees that may occur, Dainty Paws can not be held responsible or liable for these. Should these fees go unpaid, the order will be destroyed or returned and the customer will not eligible for a refund.
Unfortunately, delays due to customs can be expected.
CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
Please ensure that you are completely satisfied with your order before proceeding to check out as cancellations are not accepted unless under extreme circumstances (this is at the discretion of Dainty Paws). Please get in contact as soon as possible to discuss this. Returns are also not accepted due to the majority of available items being personalisable and custom made to order.
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged please contact us via email upon arrival of goods, providing us with the details of your order and a photo of the damage. A returns process will be initiated following this. Customer is to pay return postage.
PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
Dainty Paws will never sell any of your personal data or information to third party companies. In order for your order/s to be fulfilled it is necessary for your data to be shared with limited third party companies. For example, PayPal, Hotmail, Wix and Royal Mail. These companies are regulated and compliant with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and have a duty to keep any information safe and secure. Any information obtained is only stored for as long as required by law.
Our hammocks are not official licensed merchandise of any brand or company.
However, sometimes the fabric used to create them are licensed. Dainty Paws is in no way affiliated with any parts of the Walt Disney Company or their subsidiaries and in no way claims to be.
